public competition for municipality of porto [12th place] ● porto, portugal ● architecture jpqueiroga ● 3ds bernardo silva ● The structural skeleton made of concrete is visible on the façades, giving lightness to the composition and allowing to create a continuous balcony for all apartments facing the street. The terraces in the corners dematerialize the composition, making it less monolithic. The regulated system of slabs and pillars is complemented by a performance of volumes made of viroc. These volumes correspond to cabinets, ducts or desk niches.
