public competition for cincork [2th place] ● santa maria da feira, portugal ● architecture jpqueiroga ● 3ds mário esteves ● The proposed building is characterized by the strict and precise assembly of its main architectural elements, which simultaneously resolve the programmatic organization, structure, infrastructure and the architectural character, which is intended to be industrial and poetic. These elements are a podium made of concrete, transverse concrete walls, five lanterns, which run the entire length of the building, and the exterior cladding in expanded cork agglomerate.
